Double-layered crocheted flower

Boy, have I missed blogging! The past week has just flown by. I have been doing what seems like crazy amounts of ironing. Laundry tends to pile up when you’re not looking! Last week, we had the Hari Raya holidays — Malaysia took a break the whole of last week, or so it seemed — during which I did plenty of mundane sewing. That is, sewing useful but non-pretty things; things too dull to be blogged about. Now that the family knows I’m proficient with my sewing paraphernalia, I’m the official Miss Fix-It for torn trousers, missing buttons and the like. Nice to be needed, though, eh?

In between all that ironing, I did manage to dig up this crocheted-flower pattern I’ve been meaning to try for a while now. And I love it! I used only one colour, but it would be so easy to mix and match the colours for the different layers.

If you love crocheted flowers as much as I do, go get this pattern! The directions are clear and precise, the pattern itself is super-easy, and the results are oh-so-lovely. Click here to get the pattern, courtesy of Linda Permann and CraftStylish.
